Product Description
Tig Tack Weld Clamp
The TWC tack weld clamp is the solution for aligning and fixing the tubse for spot welding.
It usually requires a large number of people to locate, fix and glue and weld joint or valve core components.
Using TIG welding fixture, personnel can easily complete position welding and table welding, thus increasing productivity and reducing labor cost.
TWC tack weld clamp is made of stainless steel, so the clamp can also be used as a heat sink to reduce discoloration.
They are compact and light, and welders can carry some clamps at work.
TWC tack weld clamp also provides a concentric seal around the connector, which can hold the entire surface, which is better than the other only at a few points.
Properly Securing the TIG-Tack Clamp
Step 1) Apply the segment which has the pressure plate and fixed hinge.
Step 2) Swing the movable segment which has the tightening screw into position.
Step 3) Tighten the screw by hand using moderate pressure. (Never use a tool to tighten!)
Step 4) When removing the clamp, slight hand pressure may be required due to the tight fit.
Tacks should be extremely small, and cause no discoloration so they may be easily welded over by an orbital welder or by hand. Following the tacking of the initial weld joint the clamp may be removed. It is recommended that a light duty welder be used with a small torch that will fit the opening provided in the clamp so that the arc may be struck directly on the joint.
